You will need a Referral from your General Practitioner
or Specialist doctor. Our staff will remind you when you require a new Referral.

CAN I BRING A FAMILY MEMBER/FRIEND TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Our doctors encourage you to bring a family member/friend to your appointment.

IS THERE FREE CAR PARKING AVAILABLE?

There is free parking (with time restrictions) in the streets surrounding the building. Paid parking is also available in the basement of the building.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Please bring your Medicare card, Veterans Affairs card, Private Health Insurance membership card, Pensioner card, current list of medications, documentation and results from your referring doctor.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

You can call 03 9781 5244 Monday to Friday from 09.00 am – 5.00 pm. If you are a new patient you will require a Referral from your General Practitioner/ Specialist. Please tell our staff if you have recently had a scan, test, or other procedure.

WHO SHOULD I CALL IF I HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?

Please call our staff on 03 9781 5244, they will answer your question or direct your call to the appropriate person.

HOW DO I GET A DOCTOR’S CERTIFICATE FOR ME OR MY CARER?

Please tell our reception staff when you arrive for your appointment, they will inform your doctor.

WILL THERE BE OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES?

Our Doctors set their own Consultation fees. A consultation may incur an out of pocket charge. Our staff can tell you what your Doctor will charge for a Consultation, and the expected out of pocket charge. Other out of pocket expenses may include medications, procedures, radiology tests.

WHEN AND HOW SHOULD I PAY MY ACCOUNT

We require Consultation fees to be paid on the day of your visit. Rebates can be lodged electronically on the day if you have your bank details recorded with Medicare Australia. For your convenience payment may be made by : credit card, eftpos, cash or cheque.

DO YOU HAVE POLICIES ON MY RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

You will be provided with a copy of our policy on Patients’ Rights and Responsibilities at your initial consultation. You can request a copy from our friendly receptionist at any stage or by calling 03 9781 5244 during office hours.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE ENROLLED IN CANCER RESEARCH CLINICAL TRIALS?

Our Medical Oncologists are actively involved in many Clinical Research Trials. You can ask your Doctor if there is a Clinical Trial that would be appropriate for you.
