A/Prof Vinod Ganju graduated in Medicine at the University of Western Australia. He pursued his interest in Medical Oncology with post-graduate training in Perth and subsequently completed a Fellowship in Haematology and Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in the USA. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as well as being an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, The Haematology Society of Australia & New Zealand, European Society of Medical Oncology and the American Association for Cancer Research.

A/Prof Ganju treats a broad range of cancers and has been consulting on the Peninsula for over 20 years. As the Managing Director of Peninsula and Southeast Oncology (PASO) and previous Medical Director of the Peninsula Oncology Centre, A/Prof Ganju has passionately coordinated and contributed to the growth in oncology-related services on the Mornington Peninsula; particularly with his role as co-developer of the purpose-built day hospital, Frankston Private.

A/Prof Ganju is keenly involved in both national and international research groups where clinicians can collaborate on various clinical trials and research programs. At PASO, A/Prof Ganju is the principal investigator for PASO’s many clinical trials, with research interests being predominantly Lung and Breast Cancer.

A/Prof Ganju also consults at both Rosebud and East Bentleigh consulting rooms on a fortnightly basis.

Dr Sanjeev Sewak graduated from Melbourne University with an MBBS. He then trained in Internal Medicine and later Medical Oncology and received his Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

He is an active member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, Victorian Clinical Oncology Group, Australian and New Zealand Urological Prostate Group, Australian and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr Sewak spent two years in New York, USA dedicating his time to post-graduate research and training in Oncology at New York University Medical Centre in Manhattan.

On returning to Australia he worked in, Sydney, Wollongong and Geelong before joining PASO in 2009 as a consultant Medical Oncologist. Dr Sewak also works at Peninsula Health and has a broad range of experience in all tumour types. His research interests include Genitourinary Malignancy and Lung and Breast cancers. He has also been a Lead Investigator in a number of studies involving Prostate, Renal and Bladder cancers at both PASO and Peninsula Health.

Dr Ben Markman is a Medical Oncologist with primary interests in cancers of the lung, gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts, as well as melanoma. He is also strongly committed to research where he endeavours to bring new cancer treatment options to patients.

Dr Markman graduated from medicine at Monash University and became a medical oncologist via the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Program. He also completed a fellowship in early stage clinical trials and translational research in Barcelona, Spain where he gained expertise in drug development processes critical to novel cancer therapies.

In 2010, Dr Markman joined the PASO Medical team as a consultant Medical Oncologist. He has established himself as an expert in his tumour streams of interest. His time is dedicated to the health of both public and private patients as well as maintaining his involvement in research. He is also employed in the medical oncology unit at the Monash Cancer Centre, Monash Health, where he is head of the Phase I Clinical Trials Program.

Dr Min-Ne Wu graduated in Medicine at Monash University in Melbourne. She then developed her passion for Pharmacological and Oncological medicine by furthering her studies in the two fields. She underwent post-graduate training in Clinical Pharmacology at Austin Health, and then in Medical Oncology at Royal Hobart Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. Dr Wu then completed a Fellowship in Oncology at Monash Medical Centre, from which she then established herself as a Medical Oncologist.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, a member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr Wu has been a member of the PASO team since 2006 as a consultant Medical Oncologist and is keenly interested in the management of cancers of the Breast, Lung, Prostate and Gastrointestinal Tract, and participates in clinical research of these areas. She has also been the lead investigator at PASO for a number of clinical trials in Melanoma.

Dr Lundy graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 2007. She then came to Melbourne and completed her basic physician training at Monash Health, before training as a Medical Oncologist via the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Program.

Dr Lundy subsequently gained fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and is an active member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr Lundy works as the Clinical Research Fellow in the Monash Health Translation Precinct, predominantly in early phase clinical trials and joined PASO Medical in 2016 as a consultant Medical Oncologist.

Dr Ramin Behzadigohar graduated from medical school with an M.D. degree in 2006. He undertook most of his basic physician training at Eastern Health and completed his training in medical oncology through the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Group in three major teaching hospitals including St Vincent’s Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Medical centre.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, an active member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr Behzadigohar has a keen interest in research. During his medical oncology training he has been involved in many phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical trials. He works as the Clinical Research Fellow in the Monash Health Translation Precinct, primarily in early phase clinical trials.

Dr Behzadigohar joined PASO Medical in 2017 as a consultant Medical Oncologist with special interests in gastrointestinal, breast and genitourinary cancers.

Dr Jun Shen graduated from medical school with an M.D. degree in 1998. He was then awarded a Ph.D from Howard Flory Medical Institute in University of Melbourne in 2004. He underwent physician and oncology specialist training at Monash Health, Austin Health and Alfred Hospital.

Dr Shen completed a Fellowship in Royal Australian College of Physician in 2011, after which he has established himself as a Medical Oncologist in South Eastern Oncology, St John of God Berwick Hospital and Peninsula Private Hospital. He is an active member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and European Society for Medical Oncology.

Dr Shen also works at Peninsula Health and has a broad range of experience in nearly all tumour types, including Gastroenterology, breast, lung and prostate cancers. Dr Shen has been involved in multiple phase I, II and III trials over years of his Medical Oncology practice. He will be joining PASO Medical in 2019 as a consultant Medical Oncologist and participate in clinical research in gastrointestinal, breast and lung cancers.
