A Message from our Medical Director
Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Patients,
Twenty years ago, we opened our unit with an ambitious vision: to transform the way we care for patients with cancer by making the best of existing resources with multidisciplinary teamwork and accessing latest therapies through engagement in clinical trials. We believed then - as we do even more firmly today - that the most powerful weapon against cancer is a multidisciplinary, multispecialty approach with the patient needs at the centre of every decision.
Today, as we mark our 20th Anniversary, I find myself reflecting not only on the milestones we have reached and the lives we have touched, but also on the colleagues who have contributed so much.
From the beginning, we knew that providing world-class care meant ensuring our patients were not limited by geography. We made it our mission to bridge the gap between groundbreaking research and patient access. By expanding our network and dedicating ourselves to bringing the latest, most promising clinical trials from across the globe directly to our patients, we have provided options where often none existed before.
Whether it was a novel targeted therapy, an innovative immunotherapy or a unique procedure, our goal has always been to ensure that the cutting edge of global science is available to everyone right here, close to home. It has been heartening and exciting to be involved in the enormous developments in therapeutics especially in personalised treatments.
Thank you for your trust. Your courage, resilience, and willingness to participate in clinical research have paved the way for future generations. Your stories are the major motivating drive for us to keep going further.
Your expertise, compassion, and tireless commitment to clinical excellence have turned our vision into a reality. Your enthusiastic and creative inputs have made this vision possible. I have made many connections which I hold dear.
Thank you for your collaboration. Science is a global endeavour, and because of our shared commitment, we have been able to contribute towards changing the landscape of cancer care together.
As we look toward the next twenty years, our promise remains the same: we will never stop seeking the next breakthrough.
